1 DAY TOUR ON VESPA
WITH ROAD BOOK

You will ride on the most intriguing lanes to get to the mediaeval hamlets, castles and walled cities typical of the Prosecco Conegliano Valdobbiadene Hills.

Explore a magic territory seated on a real Vespa, a vehicle that has written history. Your Vespa will take you to ancient hamlets, historic town centres and castles that make the landscape of this UNESCO World Heritage Site unique and fascinating. As you take your time to navigate the gentle hills, look for the coats of arms of noble families on the facades of ancient mansions. Between stops, don’t forget to visit a winery, satisfy your appetite in one of the many typical farmhouse restaurants and take the best photos of your holiday.

Interesting Facts and Local Culture

The hills north of Conegliano between Collalbrigo and Collalto are the least known but full of charm and therefore more exclusive. The views are spectacular and what now seems like a pleasant landscape was the scene of a tremendous battle between the Da Caminos from Carrara, Count Brandolini and the ferocious Ezzelino. Riding a Vespa you will have the feeling of being truly immersed in these medieval atmospheres.

Itinerary

Your tour takes you from Vittorio Veneto through the area’s beautiful hills to Conegliano, where you can visit the imposing castle with its lovely panoramic terrace and admire the foothills, and if it’s a clear day, you can even see Venice. You then go on to Collalbrigo and continue to the fascinating San Salvatore Castle, looming large with its typical towers topped with pointed merlons. Riding along dirt lanes (take care!) will take you to the intriguing ruins of Collalto Castle. Continue to the area of Rolle and Molinetto della Croda and return through two of the hamlets ranked as the most attractive hamlets of Italy: Follina and Cison, watched over from above by the imposing Castelbrando.

Food and Wine

This tour includes a host of food and wine stops. Start with an aperitif on the spectacular terrace of the Bar Ristorante Al Castello. Along the way you will find numerous farmhouse restaurants, such as La Sorte and La Guizza. Be sure to make a stop at the picturesque Osteria di Collalbrigo and enjoy a drink on the panoramic terrace. Collalto Castle also hosts the Trattoria Due Torri, specialising in Veneto cuisine, and don’t forget a visit to one of the many wineries along the route.
